Announced early last year, Mobilize is the fourth Renault Group brand and is designed to provide ride-sharing services. Recently, Mobilize was rumored to be bringing two new concept cars to the Paris Motor Show, namely the Solo and the Ileo.
This concept car has a compact size, only 1.37 meters. As the name implies, this car is a single-seater design and has only three wheels, two front wheels that are driven and one rear wheel that handles the steering. This concept car is claimed to have a maximum speed of 25 km / h.
In terms of design, this concept car appears with an asymmetrical body and is equipped with airbags and foot-operated emergency buttons. Once this emergency button is pressed, the vehicle will stop in case of an emergency. The most unique, this concept car uses a joystick instead of a conventional steering wheel.
The Mobilize Solo has reclining seats that can be tilted forward to allow for a larger cargo area while the entire body and interior are washable.
With a width of only 0.9 meters and a height of 1.75 meters, this concept car seems very suitable for urban mobility. Because it is so small, six units of the Mobilize Solo can fit in a regular parking lot. The Solo can charge its battery via a wired or wireless connection.
Mobilize itself built the Solo with 50 percent recycled materials and said the vehicle was 95 percent recyclable at the end of its life cycle.
