PMV Ease-E : small micro urban EV with range up to 200 km

The trend of electric cars is mushrooming all over the world, India is no exception. In India, there are even many start-ups that produce electric cars, one of which is PMV Electric. The company started by Kalpit Patel will launch a tiny electric car with a price of Rs 4 lakh.

PMV Ease-E  have a capacity of two passengers and be sold from July 2022. The price of the Ease-E is believed to be around Rs 4 lakh.

The PMV Ease-E is designed according to the new generation of global micro electric vehicles such as the Citroen AMI and MG E200. The design of this car looks sharp and unique with a T-shaped front closed grille with LED daytime running lights on the top and round LED headlights on the bottom.

This car uses 13-inch alloy wheels and the cabin can accommodate two seats: one in the front and one in the back. Although small, this car has good visibility with large glass panels.

The car also gets modern features such as a full-TFT digital instrument console, a free-to-install touchscreen infotainment system, keyless lock, USB charging port, air conditioning, cruise control, and rear parking camera and sensors.

The Ease-E is equipped with a front-mounted 15 kW (20 bhp) electric motor. This car can reach a top speed of 70 km / h. The battery used is lithium iron phosphate 10 kWh, which is expected to provide a range of between 120 km to 200 km per charge.

Using a 3 kW AC charger, the Ease-E battery can be charged in under four hours. Measuring 2,915 mm in length, 1,157 mm in width and 1,600 mm in height, the new PMV Ease-E has a ground clearance of 170 mm, a wheelbase of 2,087 mm and a weight of 550 kg.

PMV Ease-E will be sold to customers via D2C (direct to consumer) mode, eliminating the conventional sales process through dealer outlets. PMV aims to produce 15,000 units of Ease-E in the first year of production from its manufacturing unit in Chakan.
