Peugeot e-Expert electric van : specifications, battery and range

Peugeot e-Expert is designed to meet business needs and focuses on cost ownership. For this reason, this electric van is designed with the latest and seeks to increase resale value.

The Peugeot e-Expert feature is also designed to minimize maintenance and consumption costs.

This electric van is driven by a 100 kW electric motor, equivalent to 136 HP with 260 Nm of torque. However, in Eco mode it can run with 60 kW or 80.5 HP equivalent, while in normal mode it can run up to 80 kW or equivalent to 109 HP and when entering sport mode, this van gives full power, which is 100 kW or 136 HP.

Commercial vehicles provide two battery variants, namely: 50 kWh which can cover a distance of 148 miles and the 75 kWh battery can reach 211 miles or 339 km. However, the range or mileage will decrease with the amount of load on the van.

However, every 100 kilograms of payload reduces the mileage by about 3.1 miles or 5 km. Regarding cargo, electric vans are only for carrying light logistical loads, so the Peugeot e-Expert is only capable of carrying 1,001-1,226 kilograms.

The charging time of this electric van battery varies. If using standard charging, it will be full in 11 hours 20 minutes. However, if you use a wallbox charger, it only takes 4 hours and 45 minutes.

Whereas for fast charging 100 kW can charge 80% in 30 minutes for a battery capacity of 50 kWh and it takes 45 minutes for a capacity of 75 kWh.

Regarding body type, the Peugeot e-Expert has the same size as the Expert model with gasoline and diesel fuel, namely: compact, standard and long.

The compact model is limited to those with a 50 kWh battery and the longer model is only available with a 75 kWh battery pack and for the standard model a battery variant is available. In order for the battery to be guaranteed, the battery has a warranty of eight years or 100,000 miles.

In addition, this commercial vehicle is equipped with DAB radio, Bluetooth, cruise control and speed limiter, remote locking with deadlock, Peugeot Connect SOS & Assistance, and full steel bulkhead.

The Professional is available in compact, standard, and long forms, and gets a 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and android auto, plus dual passenger seats with loading bulkheads.

Meanwhile, from the security side, there are additional departure lane warnings, speed limit recognition, front and rear parking sensors, and a 180-degree parking camera.
