French automotive manufacturer Peugeot presents a hydrogen-based commercial vehicle, namely the e-EXPERT Hydrogen.

“This hydrogen electrification technology allows commercial vehicles to be used intensively where every day they have to travel hundreds of kilometers without having to stop to recharge the battery,” said Peugeot CEO, Linda Jackson in an official statement, Friday.

This emission-free future commercial car puts its entire hydrogen system in the engine compartment and at the bottom of the car resulting in a very large car space without compromise.

The center of gravity is also at the base providing stability, security and agility. The first customer who will use the Peugeot e-EXPERT Hydrogen is WATEA.

WATEA is one of MICHELIN’s subsidiaries dedicated to eco-friendly mobility solutions. The first deliveries will be delivered before the end of 2021.

In this case, the Peugeot e-EXPERT Hydrogen is a symbol of Peugeot’s strategy of “Power of Choice”. The presence of the car adds an option for its customers to have a vehicle according to their needs.

Pegueot said, this commercial vehicle will be produced in the French region (Nord, Hauts de France) and will continue production in the German region (Russelsheim) where there is a production line from Stellantis dedicated to producing hydrogen technology vehicles.
