Peugeot e-Boxer receives a upgrade battery pack and improved range for UK market

Peugeot has given the e-Boxer electric van a new, bigger battery pack and increased range. The 75kWh battery adds an additional 15 miles to the e-Boxer’s range, giving it a total of 154 miles (WLTP) without hampering loading volume.

The new 75kWh battery is paired with a 122bhp electric motor with a maximum torque of 350Nm which provides instant responsiveness without vibration and a smooth driving experience.

The e-Boxer battery can charge from zero to 80 percent in one hour via a 50kW charger.

Pricing for the e-Boxer 440 Electric 75kWh auto Professional now starts at £66,535 (before the UK Government’s Plug in Vehicle Grant PiVG), with savings also available on the Peugeot e-Boxer Window 75kWh van variant.

Prices for the regular 75kWh e-Boxer in standard load and height start at £62,035 excluding VAT and grants.

There’s also an entry-level version with a 37kWh battery starting at £56,285. The e-Boxer variant with a 37kWh battery has a range of up to 73 miles.

The E-Boxer has a feature that combines regenerative braking, by harnessing the energy normally lost during deceleration and using it to recharge the battery on the go.
