The technology giant from the United States, Apple has long been known to be working on their electric vehicle, named Project Titan. Despite being one of the most awaited cars, information about this electric vehicle, including features and specifications, is still very minimal.

Report by patentlyapple claims that Apple’s car is expected to act as iPhone taking commands from Siri. Apple is known to have revised the autonomous driving technology on Project Titan. The patent is named “Guidance of Autonomous Vehicles in Destination Vicinities Using Intent Signals”.

The patent also describes how to use a smartphone’s touch screen and voice command system such as parking a car or taking it to a specific location.

The navigation system in the patent is said to be very accurate to bring the driver to the destination. This is said to be improving the autonomous driving capabilities of Apple cars. The presence of a voice assistant, Siri will also be very important to perform these tasks.

In the patent, the car will receive signals from passengers via voice commands. After receiving the command, the car’s system will activate the onboard cameras and sensors to find the desired place and reach it.

This Project Titan patent was filed in 2019, but recently had a major update. Apple is also rumored to have canceled the original patent filing and replaced it with a new one. Apple’s electric car is expected to be around 2025.
