NIO start in 2023 with a total of 8,506 vehicle deliveries in January. It represents a decline of 46.22% from the 15,815 vehicles delivered in December and a decrease of 11.87% compared to the 9,652 vehicles delivered in the same month in the previous year.
Of these deliveries, 2,190 were premium smart electric SUVs and 6,316 were premium smart electric sedans. The company’s cumulative vehicle deliveries reached 298,062 as of January 31st, 2023.

During the peak travel season surrounding the Chinese New Year Holiday, NIO provided over 1 million power swaps to its users. This included over 300,000 swaps at the NIO power swap stations along highways and over 11,000 flexible battery upgrades to enhance long-distance travel.
On January 18th, 2023, NIO was recognized by Corporate Knight’s Global 100 and ranked first among car brands on the “World’s Most Sustainable Companies” list. The company places great importance on low-carbon development, environmental protection, and ecosystem building.

NIO is offering its previous models including the ES8, ES7, ES6, EC6, ET7, and ET5 for sale. On December 24, 2022, the company held its annual NIO Day event and introduced two new additions to its lineup – the EC7 and the latest version of the ES8. Delivery of these vehicles is slated to commence in May and June 2023. The ES8, ES7, ES6, EC7, and EC6 are sport utility vehicles, while the ET7 and ET5 are sedans.
