BYD has released official images of the updated Atto 3, showcasing revised exterior styling and enhanced driver assistance capabilities. The refreshed electric SUV, also known as the Yuan Plus in China, is set to enter the domestic market soon.
Despite being referred to by company representatives as a second-generation model, the updates to the Atto 3 primarily constitute a facelift. The vehicle features a redesigned front end with a sportier bumper, a larger trapezoidal air intake, and an integrated front camera.

While the headlights remain unchanged, they are complemented by a chrome-plated “Dragon’s Whiskers” trim. Other visual changes include a new body color, partially blacked-out D-pillars, and a revised rear spoiler with dual brake lights. The taillight design incorporates a Chinese knot pattern with dynamic turn signals.
The updated Atto 3 will be available with 17-inch and 18-inch wheel options. A key addition is BYD’s God’s Eye C (DiSus 100) driver assistance system, which includes a three-camera setup beneath the windshield, four surround-view cameras, five long-range cameras, five millimeter-wave radars, and twelve ultrasonic sensors, totaling 29 sensors. According to BYD, the system supports ten high-speed navigation scenarios and six intelligent parking modes.
