NIO delivered 7,024 EVs in May 2022, increasing by 38.43% from last month

NIO in May 2022 delivered 7,024 electric vehicles to their customers. The number was up 38.43 percent from last month and up 4.66 percent from the same month last year.

In May 2022 a total of 1,707 units of the ET7 electric sedan were delivered to customers. While the remaining 5,317 are SUV type vehicles with details of 746 ES8, 2,936 ES6, and 1,635 EC6.

What’s interesting about the report on electric vehicle shipments in May is that for the first time the ET7 deliver exceeds the EC6 shipment. The ET7’s total delivery total has been 2,563 since it first started delivering at the end of March.

In total, NIO’s cumulative deliverables reached 204,936 units as of May 31, 2022. Electric vehicle production is slowly recovering after being disrupted by lockdowns in certain regions in China which disrupted the supply chain for vehicle production.

By May 2022, all NIOs globally had covered more than 5 billion kilometers of distance.

NIO users have driven more than 418 million km using the NIO Pilot-assisted steering system, and 158 million kilometers using the NOP (Navigation on Pilot) feature.

Meanwhile, the virtual voice assistant, NOMI, has been used a cumulative 520 million times, with the most frequently executed commands being directions, setting air conditioning, and playing music.
