Neta’s February Deliveries Surge by 41.53% YoY with 10,073 Units Sold

Neta, the electric vehicle (EV) brand of Hozon Auto, has made significant progress in February with a 41.53 percent increase in deliveries compared to the previous year. The company delivered 10,073 units in February, showing impressive growth from 6,016 units in January. Neta has achieved this growth through the sales of their budget EVs, Neta V and Neta U, as well as their flagship sedan, Neta S.

Neta’s sales data for February reveals that the deliveries of Neta S increased by 35 percent from 1,517 units in January to 2,048 units. The brand’s current focus is on the affordable EV market, with the Neta V and Neta U priced between RMB 100,000 to RMB 150,000. However, they will soon be launching their flagship sedan, Neta S, targeting the RMB 200,000 to 300,000 market on July 31, 2022.

To compensate for the end of China’s purchase subsidies for new energy vehicles (NEVs) at the end of 2022, Neta raised the prices of all their models on sale. The Neta U-II, which sits in the middle of Neta’s product array, received the most significant price increase of RMB 6,000, and the Neta V saw a price increase of RMB 4,000. The flagship sedan, Neta S, increased by RMB 3,000.

Despite the challenging market conditions, Neta is making efforts to expand overseas. Recently, they announced that they shipped nearly 100 Neta U and Neta V units to Jordan, marking their first exports to the Middle Eastern market. The company is also building a sports car, the Neta E, which is set for mass production and delivery in the first half of 2023.
