Lincoln Electric has unveiled the Velion 50kW DC Fast Charger, an American-made addition to its electric vehicle charging portfolio designed for a range of commercial and operational uses, including construction sites, emergency response, fleet operations, and service facilities. The unit offers scalable power delivery, flexible installation options, and durability for demanding environments.
The charger can operate at 12.5kW, 25kW, or 50kW, enabling operators to match charging output to specific requirements. Deployment options include ground-mounted, wheeled, and rugged roll cage configurations, while compatibility with CCS1 and NACS connectors broadens its potential applications. A plug-and-play setup is designed to eliminate trenching and permitting, reducing installation time.
Built with over 70% domestic content, the Velion meets National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure (NEVI) and Build America, Buy America (BABA) standards. The unit features epoxy-coated printed circuit boards for corrosion resistance and weather-resistant components to withstand harsh operating conditions. Smart diagnostics and remote monitoring capabilities aim to improve reliability and reduce maintenance downtime.
The compact form factor makes the charger suited to mobile and temporary operations, such as events and short-term deployments, without compromising on performance. Lincoln Electric backs the Velion with a three-year warranty and a nationwide service network to support customers and ensure operational continuity.
Positioned as a forward-looking charging solution, the Velion is designed to adapt to evolving electric vehicle infrastructure needs. Its combination of mobility, compliance, and robust engineering places it among the company’s strategic offerings to meet growing demand for versatile fast-charging solutions.
