Kia’s all-electric van, the PV5, has been seen testing on U.S. roads, hinting at a potential launch in the American market.

The vehicle was first spotted charging at a station in Indiana earlier this year, followed by sightings in Arizona, raising speculation that Kia is preparing a U.S.-spec version.

The PV5 Passenger, already available in parts of Europe and South Korea, appears largely unchanged, though the U.S. variant may include side marker lights to comply with local regulations.

Kia has not officially confirmed a U.S. release, but the sightings align with the company’s stated plan to introduce the PV5 to “other markets” in 2026.

In Europe, the PV5 is offered in two variants—Passenger for personal use and Cargo for commercial purposes. Battery options include 51.5 kWh and 71.2 kWh packs, providing WLTP ranges of 183 miles and 256 miles, respectively.

Following its UK debut at £32,995 ($44,000), the PV5 is expanding to additional European markets, with Germany pricing starting at €38,290 ($45,000) or €249 per month.
