In their latest release, Kia has announced that it will showcase its all-electric EV6 GT later this month at the Goodwood Festival of Speed. The Kia EV6 GT has 577 bhp and a top speed of 162 mph (~260 kph). To be able to accelerate from 0 to 62 mph (~100 kph) Kia EV6 GT only takes 3.5 seconds.
Kia will demonstrate electric car performance using a hillclimb event and showcase the EV at the First Glance Paddock.
The Kia EV6 GT comes with a two-motor drive that produces 577 bhp and 740 Nm of torque. The Kia EV6 GT has a driving range of 263 miles (~424 km). To be able to charge from 10 to 80% only takes 18 minutes.

For comparison, the standard Kia EV6 RWS has 226 bhp of power and 350 Nm of torque. The Kia EV6 RWS has a top speed of 114 mph (~183 kph), 0 to 62 mph (~100 kph) in 7.3 seconds and a range of up to 328 miles (~528 km).
GT mode is activated via a button on the steering wheel. Once activated, the vehicle will automatically optimize the motor, steering and vehicle suspension for an optimal driving experience.

Users can adjust performance settings to suit their needs with My Drive mode. If you are interested in the KIA EV6 GT, prepare £59.995 (~US$72,469) for pre-order. Deliveries of the EV will begin in the UK at the end of the year.
