One thing that is less attractive than electric cars is that the charging period is longer than the filling time of gasoline in conventional cars. Then a pure EV will look sexy when the charging time is getting shorter.
A KIA EV6 car just traveled from New York City to Los Angeles in California as far as 4,635.7 km.
The special thing about the trip is the charging time which only takes 7 hours 10 minutes and 1 second. Achieving these numbers immediately recorded this electric vehicle in the Guinness World Records book.

As reported by Motor1.com, this record automatically subverts the achievement achieved by Tesla with a charging time of 12 hours, 48 minutes and 19 seconds. This means that the EV6 is approximately five and a half hours shorter in charging the battery along that route.
“The record EV6 record is the latest signal that Kia will be a leader in the popularization of electric vehicles,” said Russell Wager, vice president, marketing, KIA America.
The EV from South Korea is rumored to be rolling into showrooms in early 2022. This SUV is the first model to be launched under the KIA Plan S strategy that puts electrification at the forefront of the company’s future.

The EV6 is also the first Kia EV to have achieved product carbon footprint certification and the ‘Carbon Measured’ label from global climate change consultants and the Carbon Trust. This is also the first Korean vehicle manufacturer to achieve the certificate.
