Kia has revealed images of its upcoming electric vehicle, the EV4, ahead of its official debut at the company’s annual Kia EV Day on February 27. The model, which will be available as both a saloon and a hatchback, remains largely consistent with the original concept design, reflecting Kia’s earlier commitment to staying true to its initial vision.
The EV4 adopts a distinctive design, featuring angular lines, bold creases, and a sleek profile. It incorporates Kia’s signature “Tiger Face” front-end styling, accompanied by vertical head- and tail-lights, as well as a wide stance to enhance its visual presence.

The vehicle is equipped with 19-inch alloy wheels, and a sportier GT-Line variant will offer additional performance-inspired styling elements. While the hatchback embraces a more conventional form, the saloon aims to reinterpret the traditional four-door design for the electric age.
While Kia has not yet disclosed technical specifications, the EV4 is expected to utilize the company’s Electric Global Modular Platform (E-GMP), the same architecture that underpins the EV6 and EV9.

This platform supports 800V charging capability, along with front-wheel, rear-wheel, and all-wheel-drive configurations, suggesting that the EV4 may offer a range of powertrain options. The company has positioned the model as a fresh entry in the electric vehicle segment, aligning with its broader electrification strategy.
Further details, including performance figures, battery range, and pricing, will be announced at Kia EV Day, where the EV4 will be formally introduced. The event is expected to provide a clearer picture of Kia’s plans for expanding its electric vehicle lineup and strengthening its position in the competitive EV market.
