EV charging technology company Kempower has introduced a new analytics feature for its cloud-based charging management platform, ChargEye, aimed at helping operators monitor and optimize charging networks through a single interface.
The new tool, called Analytics View, is now available across all ChargEye subscription levels and provides charging operators with a centralized overview of key performance indicators across their entire charging infrastructure.
Network Performance in One Dashboard
According to Kempower, the new dashboard consolidates operational metrics from multiple charging locations, allowing users to assess network performance without reviewing individual charging stations separately.
The interface provides visibility into charging assets, including locations, charging stations, charge points and installed power capacity.
Operators can also monitor daily charging sessions, energy delivered, charger utilization rates, charging performance, connectivity status and charging session success rates from a single view.
The company said the feature is designed to simplify operational monitoring as charging networks continue to expand.
Supporting Data-Driven Decisions
Analytics View includes graphical reporting tools that display usage trends over time, helping operators understand when chargers are most actively used and when assets remain idle.
The platform also enables users to drill down into individual charging stations to investigate specific performance issues or identify chargers requiring maintenance.
By consolidating operational data, the system is intended to help charging operators identify underutilized assets, improve charger reliability and optimize overall network performance.
“As EV charging networks scale, operators need a clearer view of how their assets are performing across locations, and ChargEye provides data from every charge,” said Antti Vuola, Vice President of Product at Kempower.
“The Analytics View in ChargEye allows users to gather crucial top-level insights more quickly and easily than ever before, meaning they can make robust, data-driven decisions and spend more time focusing on running their chargers effectively,” he added.
Expanding Charging Management Capabilities
ChargEye is Kempower’s cloud-based charging management system designed for public charging networks, commercial fleets and depot charging operations.
The platform supports Open Charge Point Protocol (OCPP) compatibility and includes support for OCPI roaming services, REST API integrations, OpenADR flexibility signals and VDV463/VDV261 standards used in fleet depot scheduling and vehicle preconditioning.
According to Kempower, the platform operates with availability exceeding 99.7%.
The company added that ChargEye and its software development processes are certified under ISO 27001 information security standards and comply with European Union GDPR data protection requirements.
Kempower said the platform is designed and developed in Finland, with customer data stored within the European Union.
The launch reflects growing demand among charging network operators for enhanced data visibility and operational tools as electric vehicle adoption continues to expand and charging infrastructure networks become increasingly complex.
