Ionity has expanded access to its charging service in Europe to include stations operated by fellow ChargeLeague members Fastned, Electra and Atlante, allowing drivers to charge across the combined network without switching apps. Pricing, however, continues to vary by provider, tariff and country.
ChargeLeague, formerly known as Spark Alliance, was established earlier this year with the aim of enabling customers of one charging provider to use the networks of others seamlessly. The first phase of integration was rolled out in July, when the four founding members—Electra, Ionity, Fastned and Atlante—began displaying each other’s charging locations in their respective apps.

At the ChargeLeague industry summit WATT 2025 held earlier this month, the alliance said it would extend charging subscriptions across the entire network in the coming months. Electra was the first operator to enable full access to other ChargeLeague members’ charging stations through its own app. Ionity has now followed, becoming the second provider to complete the integration.
Ionity continues to offer its existing tariffs for use at its own charging stations: the pay-as-you-go “Ionity Go,” the “Ionity Motion” plan priced at £5.99 per month, and the “Ionity Power” plan at £11.99 per month, with discounted rates available for annual subscriptions. Charging prices at Ionity sites vary depending on the selected tariff.

When using the Ionity app or charging card at Fastned, Electra or Atlante stations, prices differ based on the user’s tariff, the country and the charging operator. The published rates apply to high-power DC chargers rated at 150 kW or above, while lower-power DC and AC chargers are priced separately and shown in the app on a location-specific basis. In France, Ionity further differentiates prices between motorway locations and off-highway sites for Electra and Atlante stations.
In Germany, for example, Ionity users without a subscription pay 83 pence per kilowatt-hour at Fastned stations. This falls to 75 pence under the “Ionity Motion” tariff and 65 pence under “Ionity Power.” At Electra stations, prices range from 70 pence without a subscription to 49 pence or 42 pence with the paid tariffs. Atlante does not currently operate charging sites in Germany.

Electra’s pricing model is more uniform. With its “Electra+” subscription, priced at £9.99 per month, customers pay a flat rate of 64 pence per kilowatt-hour when charging at Ionity, Fastned or Atlante stations in Germany. While rates vary by country, Electra applies the same price across ChargeLeague partner networks within each individual market. Without a subscription, users are charged the ad-hoc rate set by the respective charge point operator.
Fastned and Atlante have yet to introduce similar cross-network subscription pricing, and details on their future tariff structures have not been disclosed.
