Hyundai Returns to Canadian International Auto Show with Futuristic N Vision 74 and All-Electric RN22e

Hyundai is making a comeback to the Canadian International Auto Show in Toronto, after a three-year hiatus. From February 17th to 27th, the automaker will display its latest offerings, including the N Vision 74 and RN22e concepts, as well as the all-electric Ioniq 6 and its entire line-up. Attendees will also have the opportunity to take a test drive of several Hyundai models.

“We are excited to make a return to the Auto Show in Toronto with the Canadian debut of the N Vision 74 and the global auto show reveal of RN22e,” president and chief executive of Hyundai Auto Canada Don Romano said. “These vehicles showcase Hyundai’s unwavering focus on sustainability, performance, design, and innovation. Attendees of the Canadian International Auto Show are in for something special this year from Hyundai.”

The Hyundai N Vision 74 is a futuristic vehicle that pays homage to the classic design of the Hyundai Pony Coupe, designed by Giorgetto Giugiaro. However, it is much more than just a stylish concept car. The N Vision 74 boasts cutting-edge technology, including a front-mounted hydrogen stack, a 62.4 kWh battery, and dual rear electric motors that generate a total output of 670 horsepower and 664 lb-ft of torque.

Recharging the battery is made convenient with the option of plugging in the car or utilizing the hydrogen stack, which functions as an 85 kW generator. The hydrogen tank can be refilled in a mere five minutes, making it a quick and efficient way to power the vehicle.

The RN22e is all-electric, with a 77.4 kWh battery and dual electric motors generating 576 horsepower and 545 lb-ft of torque. It showcases technologies set to appear in the Ioniq 5 N and Ioniq 6 N.
