Hyundai Motor Company has released full technical specifications for the upcoming Ioniq 6 N, its latest high-performance electric vehicle scheduled for a global launch in early 2026.
The model was presented to international media at the Korea International Circuit in Yeongam, highlighting Hyundai’s ongoing efforts to merge motorsport-inspired engineering with electric mobility under its N performance division.

The Ioniq 6 N delivers a peak output of 650 PS (478 kW) and 770 Nm of torque using Hyundai’s N Grin Boost function, which provides maximum power for 10-second bursts. The dual-motor setup enables acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.2 seconds and a top speed of around 257 km/h.
Power is supplied by an 84.0 kWh N Battery system, which features 800V architecture and multi-charging capability. Using a 350 kW ultra-fast charger, the battery can recharge from 10% to 80% in approximately 18 minutes.

Hyundai has reinforced the chassis and suspension to optimize racetrack performance. The system incorporates stroke-sensing electronically controlled dampers and a new suspension geometry designed to lower the roll center and improve stability at high speeds.
The Ioniq 6 N also features enhanced structural rigidity through additional weld points and adhesives, along with a stiffer rear anti-roll bar. Braking performance is provided by 400 mm front discs with four-piston calipers and 360 mm rear discs, while regenerative braking delivers up to 0.6 G of deceleration.

The model achieves a drag coefficient of 0.27 Cd, supported by aerodynamic features such as a swan-neck rear wing. Inside, Hyundai’s N-specific software suite offers tools including N Track Manager, N Drift Optimizer, and N Torque Distribution, enabling fine-tuned control of vehicle dynamics. Additional systems, such as N e-Shift and N Active Sound+, simulate gear shifts and engine acoustics for a more engaging driving experience.
Production of the Ioniq 6 N marks the next stage in Hyundai’s electrified performance portfolio, following the launch of the Ioniq 5 N. The company said the model integrates lessons from both motorsport and high-performance EV development to provide what it calls an “everyday sportscar” experience for the electric era.
