Berlin-based eMobility specialist Hubject said it has entered strategic partnerships with Italy’s Go Electric Stations and India’s Numocity, as it seeks to accelerate global adoption of its Plug&Charge technology.
Under the agreements, Hubject’s ISO 15118-based Plug&Charge solution will be integrated into the charging management platforms operated by both partners, enabling automated authentication and payment between electric vehicles and compatible charging stations without the use of apps or RFID cards.

In Europe, Hubject will work with Go Electric Stations to embed Plug&Charge into the Italian company’s NextCharge platform. Go Electric Stations operates an eMobility Service Provider (eMSP) network spanning several European markets and currently manages close to 3,000 charging stations. The companies said deployment would begin with chargers from hardware suppliers including Alpitronic, Autel and Kempower, with additional manufacturers to follow.
Separately, Hubject said it has agreed a similar integration with Numocity, a Bangalore-based provider that enables charge point operators to manage charging networks across more than 20 countries, with a strong presence in India, the Asia-Pacific region and the Middle East. The Plug&Charge rollout is expected to support markets where EV adoption is rising but user experience is often fragmented.

“In the complex, fast-evolving markets of India, APAC, and MEA, the user experience is often broken by multiple apps and payment friction,” said Ravikiran Annaswamy, chief executive of Numocity. He said the partnership would allow vehicles and chargers to authenticate automatically, helping to simplify charging and improve reliability.
Hubject Chief Executive Christian Hahn said the agreements demonstrate how Plug&Charge can be deployed across diverse charging ecosystems. He described the collaboration with Go Electric Stations as supporting Hubject’s growth in Europe, while calling the Numocity partnership “a significant milestone for the global expansion of our Plug&Charge technology,” citing the rapid growth of EV markets in India and the Middle East.

Hubject said it currently operates what it describes as the world’s largest interoperable EV charging network, linking more than one million charge points and over 3,000 business partners in more than 70 countries. The company has positioned Plug&Charge as a core pillar of its strategy as automakers and charging operators seek to streamline the EV charging experience worldwide.
