Honda teases image of New Generation CR-V using hybrid powertrain

After becoming a byword for automotive lovers through various social media, Honda has finally released a teaser for the new generation of the All New Honda CR-V.

The SUV now appears carrying a new, more modern and simple design. The appearance of his own face is similar to the design used by his brother, namely the Honda BR-V and HR-V.

On the front fascia, the All New Honda CR-V carries the headlights that become narrower and are made as if they are integrated with the grille. The bumper is only equipped with air holes while the fog lamps are removed in this new generation.

Shifting to the rear, Honda still maintains the L-shaped design like the current generation but is made to be more modern and simple. Even so, the rear bumper of this Honda SUV gets a new design with black plastic material with mufflers that are made together by the bumper so that it looks cleaner.

What makes it interesting in the teaser distributed by Honda, it looks like this new generation CR-V is equipped with a hybrid engine.

Although it doesn’t have complete information about the engine, the Japanese manufacturer claims that this time the hybrid engine is designed to be more sophisticated. “A more sophisticated hybrid system for a sportier driving experience with more powerful capabilities,” Honda said in its official statement.

However, if you look at the Japanese market, the Honda CR-V Hybrid engine is armed with an electric motor coded LFB-H4 which can pump power of 135 kW at 5,000 – 6,000 rpm with peak torque reaching 315 Nm in the range of 0 – 2,000 rpm. .

The hybrid engine is combined with a gasoline engine coded LFB 4-cylinder inline DOHC with a capacity of 1,993 cc which can produce 107 kW of power at 6,200 rpm and 175 Nm of torque at 4,000 rpm.

Furthermore, Honda said that information regarding the presence of the All New Honda CR-V Hybrid will be provided next summer.
