Great Wall Motor has partnered with Nio to provide users of its Haval, Wey, Ora, and Tank brand vehicles with access to Nio Power’s charging network. The collaboration, announced today via the Nio App, aims to offer greater convenience and coverage for electric vehicle (EV) owners in China.
Through this partnership, Great Wall Motor customers will be able to find and use Nio Power’s charging stations across China, available through mobile apps. The move expands Nio Power’s service to additional brands, as the network is already accessible to EVs from 17 other manufacturers, including Xiaomi EV, Arcfox, Avatr, and Chery.

In 2024, Great Wall Motor recorded a 22.88 percent increase in new energy vehicle (NEV) sales, reaching 321,795 units. However, the company saw a decline in sales in January 2025, attributed to seasonal factors such as the Chinese New Year holiday.
Nio operates one of the largest charging networks in China, with 2,665 supercharging stations and over 12,000 charging piles, in addition to 3,113 battery swap stations. Nio Power’s services have been increasingly used by a wide range of EV brands, with more than 1 million charging services provided in the first weeks of 2025, the majority of which were for non-Nio vehicles.
