GM starts delivering first Hummer EV to customer

Many brands have started sending orders for their electric vehicles. After Hyundai delivering their Ioniq5 to its first customer, GMC did the same with their electric pickup truck Hummer EV.

GM has reportedly started deliveries of the Hummer EV as promised. GM did not reveal who the Hummer EV’s first customer was.

Hummer EV Edition 1 model come with price $110,295 has 1,000 horsepower, 11,500 lb-ft of torque, and an estimated range of 329 miles.

This is the first consumer-oriented vehicle to ship using the Ultium battery technology that will underpin numerous GM EVs going forward.

Features unique to Hummer EV include “CrabWalk,” a mode that enables Hummer EV to diagonally move at low speeds by pivoting the rear and front wheels at the same angle.

GM is investing about $30 billion into the production and development of electric vehicles such as the Hummer pickup and an upcoming SUV variant of the vehicle through 2025.

This car is ready become challengers other brand like Ford F-150, Tesla Cybertruck and Rivian.
