The R1T is an all-electric pickup truck from the new American brand Rivian with a very futuristic look. The Rivian R1T has a range of up to 300 miles and lightning-fast acceleration. Rivian said that the R1T truck is not a concept vehicle and is ready for mass production. The R1T measures 215.6 inches in length, this is the case with other mid-size pickups such as the Ford Ranger and full-size trucks such as the Ram 1500. The Rivian R1T will be one of the first electric pickup trucks and is ready to compete with the Ford F-150 Lightning, Tesla Cybertruck and the Hummer EV SUV.
The Rivian R1T is scheduled to begin shipping to customers in July 2021. Launch Edition prices start at $73,000, but the more affordable Explore trim level will arrive in 2022.
