Future-E : electric yacht concept with futuristic design

The Future-E is a concept electric yacht from the Italian design studio, Centrostiledesign. In his presentation Centrostiledesign will be made from recycled carbon fiber. The Future-E is equipped with two electric motors, ensuring the yacht does not produce emissions and noise. The yacht party trick, however, is the four retractable foils that allow it to float on the water.

The yacht’s foil will lengthen as its speed increases and while traveling at 16 knots it will enter full foiling mode and lift out of the water.

The Future-E is said to reach over 30 knots and is equipped with an advanced kinematic system with electro-hydraulic actuators and a gyroscope to reduce the impact of waves, creating a smooth and comfortable ride.

From the interior side, the Future-E comes with lots of large touchscreens that house all the important controls. There is a captain’s seat with a large size and a second row seat that can accommodate three passengers.

Future-E comes from the mind of yacht designer Davide Cipriani, managing director of Centrostiledesign. It is not clear if the company has any plans to build the yacht.
