The Dongfeng FengGuang Mini EV compared to the Wuling HongGuang Mini EV has almost identical proportions, the wheels are small, and the lines on the fenders are very similar.

However, some details are different, including black trim on the front bumper, wider grille, chiseled doors, window lines, and taillights that blend with the black trim along the profile.

Dongfeng FengGuang Mini EV Specifications

The Dongfeng FenGuang Mini EV adopts a micro with dimensions of 2,995 mm in length, 1,495 mm in width and 1,640 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 1,960 mm. This dimension is slightly larger than the Wuling Mini EV.

The Dongfeng FengGuang Mini EV has a single electric motor producing 34 hp (25 kW) which is sufficient for urban environments. This means the FengGuang Mini EV outperforms the HongGuang Mini EV which only has a 27 hp (20 kW) motor.

Dongfeng FengGuang Mini EV Price

The Dongfeng FengGuang Mini EV will debut in the first quarter of 2022 with a more affordable price estimated to start at around US$5,000.

Apart from the Wuling Hongguang Mini EV, other competitors in this segment are Chery QQ Ice Cream, Baojun E300 EV, Baizhi Daxiong, and the slightly larger Changan Benben E-Star.
