Different from cars in general, Tesla’s electric car has an in-car-gaming feature called Tesla Arcade. It allows users to play games in the cabin space by taking advantage of the large multipurpose screen.
Interestingly, the choice of games available on these sophisticated devices has recently been continuously improved. After embedding Cyberpunk 2077, Tesla is now adding another popular game, namely Sonic the Hedgehog. Tesla will add Sonic the Hedgehog in all their cars, both new and old models.
Like other games, Game Sonic the Hedgehog can only be played on the dashboard when the car is stopped. Tesla previously provided a software update that will disable games while the car is in motion.
Meanwhile, the game will most likely be available in the game catalog starting at the end of this month.
Apart from that, the Sonic the Hedgehog game available on Tesla cars is the same series that was released on the 1991 Sega Genesis. Meanwhile, to play it only requires connecting an additional controller to the USB socket available on the cabin monitor.
Tesla and Sega themselves had established an official partnership before announcing the presence of Sonic in the electric vehicle. It’s not impossible, in the future more of their legendary games will be played in Tesla Arcade.
