The first 100 units of Farizon’s Xinghan G heavy-duty hydrogen fuel cell truck have rolled off the production line in China, marking the country’s first mass-produced H2 truck.
The milestone, reported by local media, is part of Farizon’s plan to manufacture 600 units at its Tianjin facility. The initial batch is set for delivery this month, with customers including Tianjin Port and Huanghua Port.

Built on the GXA-T platform, the Xinghan G is designed for long-haul transport and boasts a range of over 700 kilometers. The truck features a hydrogen storage system capable of holding 62 kg of fuel and is powered by an electric motor with a peak output of 450 kW.
Farizon, a subsidiary of Geely, is better known in Europe for its all-electric Homtruck, first unveiled in 2021. At IAA Transportation in Germany in September 2024, the company secured its first German customer, Duvenbeck, which ordered 50 Homtrucks for delivery this year. The brand has also recently introduced electric vans in Europe, further expanding its presence in the market.

While there are no confirmed plans to bring the Xinghan G to Europe, Farizon remains committed to exploring alternative drivetrains. The truck is also available in battery-electric and methanol-hydrogen variants, highlighting the company’s push for diverse clean energy solutions.
