The development of environmentally friendly cars starts from cars with low emissions, to cars with environmentally friendly fuel. The latest emerging technologies for electric cars and hydrogen fuel cars are starting to be marketed by several car manufacturers in the world.

Electric cars with hydrogen fuel are one of the competition where, many manufacturers today are marketing more electric-powered cars.

While several car manufacturers have also produced cars with hydrogen fuel, not many have sold cars with hydrogen fuel.

The market absorbs a lot of electric cars

In the midst of the trend of environmentally friendly vehicles, the global market actually absorbs more electric vehicles than vehicles with other fuels.

It is proven that the electric car market is currently pretty much dominated by the American Tesla manufacturer. The presence of an electric car is considered to be one of the vehicles that is quite simple and widely accepted by consumers.

Therefore, many consumers prefer and use electrified cars rather than hydrogen fuel cars. Moreover, the infrastructure and the ease of getting a charging station are also easier to obtain.

The difference between hydrogen and electric vehicles

Electric vehicles and hydrogen fuel, electric vehicles and hydrogen are the latest technologies that are present as part of the electrification of vehicles in the world.

When viewed from the difference between electric and hydrogen vehicles, both have different types where electricity becomes the power to drive the motor while cars with hydrogen have an engine work similar to a conventional engine but uses hydrogen fuel.

In principle, hydrogen vehicles use a device called a fuel cell or fuel cell that requires hydrogen and oxygen gas to generate electricity after going through a chemical reaction process first on the device.

That is why in hydrogen vehicles there are usually gas cylinders that function like gas tanks in ordinary cars. The result of a chemical reaction in this tool is only water vapor. So you could say hydrogen vehicles are very environmentally friendly vehicles.

The electricity generated from the fuel cell is then used by an electric engine to turn the wheels of the car. That's why sometimes hydrogen cars are also often categorized as electric cars because they use an electric engine and also a battery like an ordinary electric car.

What distinguishes, of course, is how the two types of cars get their electrical energy. An electric car must recharge its battery so that the car can work, while a hydrogen car must refill its gas cylinder with hydrogen so that the car can still work.

The advantage of hydrogen vehicles compared to electric vehicles is that they are able to operate with longer distances than ordinary electric cars because they do not depend entirely on batteries but on the capacity of their gas cylinders.

Basically, vehicles like this are environmentally friendly because they do not use conventional fuels such as oil which usually cause pollution and the greenhouse effect.
