Driivz, a Vontier company specializing in electric vehicle charging software, has signed a strategic partnership with Iberdrola | bp pulse to manage and optimize the charge point operator’s network of 2,500 fast and ultra-fast chargers across the Iberian Peninsula.

The agreement will see Driivz deploy its software platform to provide real-time operational analytics, enabling Iberdrola | bp pulse to monitor charger availability, uptime, hardware performance and charging patterns while supporting the continued expansion of its public charging network.

Data-Driven Platform to Improve Network Performance

Under the partnership, Iberdrola | bp pulse will integrate Driivz’s intelligent charging and energy management platform across its multi-vendor charging infrastructure.

The software is designed to deliver operational visibility through embedded analytics, helping the operator improve charger reliability, automate network management and simplify operations as its charging footprint continues to grow.

The companies said the platform’s API-first architecture also provides the technical foundation for future services, including smart coordinated charging and vehicle-to-grid (V2G) capabilities.

Supporting Growth Across the Iberian Market

Iberdrola | bp pulse is one of the largest charge point operators in Spain and Portugal, serving private EV drivers alongside corporate fleets, hospitality businesses, retailers and workplace charging customers.

Federico Artes, Technology and Operations Director of Iberdrola | bp pulse for the Iberian Peninsula, said the partnership is intended to strengthen the company’s operational capabilities as demand for public charging continues to increase.

“This migration is a strategic decision to build our operation on foundations that allow us to grow, innovate and deliver the reliability the Iberian market deserves. Driivz shares our conviction that data, automation and operational intelligence are the real engines of this industry.”

Reliability Becomes Industry Priority

Driivz said the agreement reflects a broader shift within the EV charging industry toward improving charger reliability and maximizing asset utilization.

According to the company’s 2026 State of EV Charging Network Operators Report, 59% of charging network operators identify charger reliability and stability as the industry’s biggest challenge, while the same proportion view higher charger utilization as the leading driver of profitability. The report also found that 67% of operators consider artificial intelligence either very important or critical to future business growth.

Driivz Chief Executive Officer Shiri Levi-Laor said increasingly complex charging networks require software platforms capable of delivering actionable operational intelligence.

“Iberdrola | bp pulse’s selection of Driivz reflects exactly where the EV charging industry is heading. Networks of this complexity – spanning multiple markets, vendors, and customer segments – require a platform built around data and operational intelligence. That’s what Driivz delivers.”

She added that the platform is designed to help operators increase uptime, simplify network management and scale their charging infrastructure without replacing existing technology systems.
