Mobility service provider DKV Mobility has expanded its electric vehicle (EV) charging network through a new partnership with charge point operator Applegreen Electric.

The agreement integrates Applegreen Electric’s network of 390 charging points in the UK and Ireland into the DKV platform, allowing customers to access these stations via the DKV Card +Charge or the DKV Mobility App.

Applegreen Electric’s charging points, which offer up to 350 kW, will be included in the DKV network, facilitated by software from GreenFlux, a subsidiary of DKV Mobility.

“We are delighted to be working with Applegreen Electric to expand our EV charging network in the UK and Ireland. This collaboration fits perfectly with our commitment to provide seamless and accessible charging solutions for our customers,” said Sven Mehringer, Managing Director of Energy & Vehicle Services at DKV Mobility.

Jack O’Brien, Country Manager UK at Applegreen Electric, also highlighted the benefits of the partnership, stating, “Partnering with DKV Mobility allows us to offer their customers a reliable, fast, and convenient charging experience at our prime locations, with dedicated on-site support staff available to resolve any issues immediately and get drivers back on their journey.”

With this expansion, DKV Mobility now offers access to around 853,000 charge points across Europe as of October 2024, solidifying its position as one of the continent’s most extensive EV charging networks. Similar agreements, such as those with the Motor Fuel Group (MFG) in November 2024 and UK provider Gridserve in October, further enhance the company’s charging infrastructure.
