Danish transport and logistics company Danske Fragtmænd has launched its first charging hub for electric trucks in Aalborg, marking the start of a broader electrification strategy across its national network. The site features a Kempower charging system, developed by energy company GodEnergi, with four high-power charging satellites, each capable of delivering up to 400 kW.
The Aalborg charging hub is the first of several planned installations, with additional sites set to open in Sakskøbing, Taastrup, Odense, and Aarhus. Ultimately, Danske Fragtmænd aims to establish charging stations at all 27 of its logistics terminals across Denmark.

“Trucking remains an ever-challenging sector to electrify, but with the right charging technology and logistics operators committed to positive change, we are confident that e-trucking is the future,” said Erik Kanerva, Sales Director for Northern Europe at Kempower. “We are now capable of providing charging infrastructure at powers higher than we’ve seen before, so change is inevitable, feasible, and increasingly profitable for trucking businesses.”
Kempower, a Finnish charging technology provider, has been expanding its modular and scalable solutions across multiple markets. The company recently introduced its Flex Satellite chargers to North America and has supplied high-speed chargers for DP World at a London port, as well as for electric buses in Austria.
