Chinese EV charging company Elecq is preparing to launch in Germany this May, marking its first move into the European market. The Shenzhen-based company, founded in 2023, plans to introduce a full range of AC and DC charging solutions supported by its proprietary software platform.
Elecq will present its product line at the Power2Drive trade fair in Munich from May 7 to 9. The company’s modular charging systems, which include wallboxes and high-power chargers, are designed to integrate with dynamic load management and enable efficient installation and maintenance.
The company’s approach emphasizes flexibility and energy optimization. Unlike conventional systems that deliver energy in fixed increments, Elecq’s technology allows each kilowatt to be distributed dynamically across multiple charging points. This architecture is aimed at enhancing system efficiency, particularly for commercial use.
Elecq’s offering is supported by a comprehensive software ecosystem that includes applications for drivers, installers, and infrastructure managers. The platform provides tools for planning, installation, energy management, diagnostics, and data analysis. It also supports vehicle-to-grid (V2G) functions and complies with ISO 15118-20 and OCPP 2.0.1 standards, with optional integration for solar power systems.
With its entry into Germany, Elecq aims to position itself as a technology-driven alternative in the EV charging space, targeting both private and commercial users. The company has stated that its product portfolio has been adapted to meet European market requirements.
