ChargePoint and The Mobility House have each been awarded public cooperative purchasing contracts by U.S. government agency Sourcewell to supply electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure, software, and services to public-sector entities across North America.
ChargePoint said the new Sourcewell contract marks its third agreement with the organisation since 2017 and will allow the company to provide charging hardware, software, and management services to municipalities, transit authorities, and public schools in the United States and Canada.

“This latest agreement extends our longstanding relationship with Sourcewell to accelerate and simplify the adoption of EV charging solutions for local governments, schools and other public agencies,” said David Vice, Chief Revenue Officer at ChargePoint. “Over the course of our relationship, we’ve enabled hundreds of Sourcewell member agencies go electric, meeting their sustainability and ESG goals.”
Sourcewell, a self-funded governmental cooperative established in 1978, supports over 50,000 participating agencies by negotiating competitive contracts to streamline procurement for public entities. Its program allows members to bypass lengthy bidding processes and obtain pre-approved pricing on technology and infrastructure projects.
