Denza, the premium brand of BYD, has started pre-sales for its latest SUV model, the N9, with pricing between $62,100 and $75,900, the company announced on Wednesday. The move comes just three days after launching the updated N7 SUV.
Customers can secure a pre-order for $276, which includes benefits such as priority access to the limited first edition. The Denza N9 is a six-seat hybrid SUV measuring 5,258 mm in length, 2,030 mm in width, and 1,830 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,125 mm.

Equipped with BYD’s e3 technology, the N9 features a tri-motor independent drive system with dual-motor rear-wheel steering. It can accelerate from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in under four seconds and offers a CLTC electric range of over 200 kilometers, with a total driving range of 1,300 kilometers on a full charge and full tank of fuel.

Denza has yet to confirm an official launch date for the N9. However, the brand’s sales chief, Zhao Changjiang, previously stated that the SUV is expected to launch in the first quarter of this year. The company first previewed the N9 in October 2024, with production models rolling off the assembly line on February 8.
