Turkish bus manufacturer Bozankaya has selected Forsee Power to provide battery systems for its upcoming fleet of electric trolleybuses. The agreement will see Forsee deliver its Zen Plus and Pulse 15 battery systems to power Bozankaya’s new generation of electric buses, available in four sizes: 10m, 12m, 18m, and 25m.
Forsee’s Zen Plus system will be used for the 12m and 18m models, while the Pulse 15 system, which supports fast charging, will be implemented in the trolleybus versions. The buses are designed for flexible charging options, either overnight or via fast charging, depending on the infrastructure and requirements of the cities where they are deployed. However, limited technical details about the buses were shared in the announcement.

The battery packs for these buses will be manufactured in Chasseneuil-du-Poitou, France. Forsee Power has a significant track record, having delivered over 4,200 battery systems for electric buses, positioning itself as a leader in battery solutions outside of China.
Bozankaya, which was founded in Germany in 1989 and later relocated its headquarters to Ankara in 2003, operates a production facility in Sincan, Turkey. The company specializes in manufacturing underground trains, trams, trolleybuses, and electric buses.

The first confirmed order for the new electric trolleybuses comes from Timisoara, Romania, where 33 units in 12m and 18m variants will be delivered to the city’s public transport network. Recently, Bozankaya also secured an order for 70 trolleybuses from Prague, despite expectations that the Czech Skoda Group would be chosen by Prague’s public transport operator, DPP.
