B-ON, the StreetScooter successor, has partnered with International Motors Limited (IML) to import and distribute its all-electric commercial vehicles to the UK. The move is expected to help B-ON reach a wider customer base as IML has a well-established dealer network in the UK. IML will take over sales and aftersales support, warranty execution, and parts distribution for B-ON’s electric light commercial vehicles MAX and GIGA, which are available in the trim levels BOX and PURE.
B-ON’s Founder, Chairman, and CEO, Stefan Krause, said that with IML’s well-established network, the company could offer a low-cost, zero-emission commercial fleet solution for customers, particularly in cities where electrification is quickly becoming a top priority. The two companies will also partner in other territories within Europe, but details will be announced at a later date.
In addition to its partnership with IML, B-ON has also announced a partnership with EO Charging, one of the UK’s leading electric vehicle charger manufacturers. B-ON customers will be able to purchase EO hardware, including installation and support services, as part of the EV maker’s Electrification-as-a-Service.
