Fastned has launched another bond offering for retail investors in Belgium and the Netherlands as the electric vehicle charging company seeks additional capital to support expansion of its European fast-charging network. The company did not disclose a specific fundraising target for the latest bond issue, although previous offerings have allowed Fastned to raise tens of millions of euros. Fastned raised 32.4 million euros through a bond round in March. Public Power Corporation, or PPC, plans to install 106 fast and ultra-fast electric vehicle charging points across Greece and Romania as part of an EU-supported infrastructure expansion programme. UK charging network operator Osprey Charging has opened a new ultra-rapid electric vehicle charging hub at Twyford Services near Evesham, in what it describes as one of the largest facilities of its kind in the West of England. Enel said it has completed the installation of 3,730 electric vehicle charging stations across Italy under the country’s National Recovery and Resilience Plan, part of a broader effort to expand charging infrastructure using funds from the European Union.
