Ford Motor Company, a car manufacturer from the United States is inundated with orders for its new product, the Ford F-150 EV. To prevent dishonest purchases, Ford prohibits dealers from reselling these electric pickups for up to one year after purchase. Ford plans to double the production capacity of its F-150 Lightning electric pickup truck to 150,000 vehicles per year by mid-2023 in response to strong customer demand.
