BYD has introduced its next-generation energy storage system, Haohan, as the Chinese automaker and battery maker steps up competition with rivals in the large-scale energy storage sector. Hesai Group China’s largest manufacturer of LiDAR sensors, said on Monday it has secured a new order worth more than $40 million from a U.S.-based robotaxi company, its second deal in the United States this month.
