Geely, China’s largest automotive company, recently launched its first electric pickup truck, the RD6 or Radar Auto. After surpassing Tesla in sales of new energy vehicles in the first half of this year, BYD according to local media 36kr plans to manufacture a special chip for intelligent driving. Panasonic will invest several billion dollars to build a new high-capacity battery production facility that will be used for Tela electric vehicles, the Nikkei reported on Wednesday.
