Autel Energy said it has launched a new version of its MaxiCharger AC Single in the United States that integrates a factory-installed Nayax Uno Mini payment device, allowing electric vehicle drivers to pay by card or digital wallet without using a mobile app.
The new configuration is aimed at large-scale destination charging deployments, including workplaces, hotels, fleets and multi-family residential sites, where operators are seeking simpler payment access and scalable installations. Autel said the charger retains the same hardware footprint as existing AC Single units while adding embedded payment functionality.

The integrated Nayax Uno Mini supports contactless EMV payments, NFC wallets such as Apple Pay and Google Pay, and RFID-based access for fleet or closed-loop use. Drivers are not required to download an app or register an account to initiate a charging session.
“Our partnership with Autel is about enabling smarter, more scalable EV charging,” said Aaron Greenberg, chief strategy officer at Nayax. “By embedding the Nayax Uno Mini directly into the MaxiCharger platform, Autel is delivering a charger that is turnkey, card-payment ready, and designed for deployment at scale across North America.”

Autel said the MaxiCharger AC Single continues to offer adjustable output of up to 19.2 kW, along with features such as dynamic load balancing, support for ISO 15118 Plug & Charge and AutoCharge, and compatibility with OCPP 1.6J and 2.0.1 charging management platforms. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Ethernet and Wi-SUN.
The company said the payment-enabled configuration is designed to support mixed-site deployments and retrofit programmes, allowing operators to add payment capability without changing existing installation processes. Operational tools include remote monitoring, diagnostics and digital twin functions for network management.

“This configuration brings payment capability directly into the AC Single platform without compromising the openness or flexibility that our customers rely on,” said Michelle Luo, chief revenue officer at Autel Energy.
Autel and Nayax said the partnership is expected to result in the integration of Nayax payment technology into about 100,000 Autel chargers across North America and Europe by the end of 2026.
The new MaxiCharger AC Single with integrated payments is available immediately through Autel’s distribution partners and will be displayed at CES 2026 in Las Vegas, the company said, as it looks to expand deployments across commercial, municipal and workplace charging sites.
