Ampol, an Australian petroleum company, has teamed up with SEA Electric to introduce integrated charging solutions in Australia. The partnership aims to offer seamless charging options, including the opportunity for drivers of SEA Electric vehicles to charge at Ampol’s petrol stations on the road.
This move is seen as a first in the industry and will involve the AmpCharge network. Both companies have a proven track record in the electric vehicle space in Australia, with Ampol receiving funding from the government to install EV chargers on highways and working with Tritium, an Australian firm, for the necessary equipment. The specific details of the partnership, such as any preferential rates for SEA EV drivers, are currently not available.
