BMW has finally released their first electric version of the 7 series line after a long wait by automotive enthusiasts. The BMW i7 has the same target audience as the Mercedes Benz EQS. The car uses two electric motors, each in the front and rear. The total power that can be issued by the two electric motors is up to 536 hp and 745 Nm of torque, even in 2023 the i7 M70 will be released which is said to be capable of producing power up to 651 hp.
However, the BMW i7 xDrive 60 version still offers quite a performance with 0-100 acceleration that can be reached in a fairly short time of only 4.7 seconds. While the maximum speed of the luxury electric sedan can reach around 240 km / hour. The embedded battery has a capacity of 101.7 kWh which is placed under the floor and is designed so thin it is only 110mm thick. The battery consumption is also quite efficient, only 19.6-18.4 kWh per 100 km which makes the maximum mileage reach 624 km.
