ABB E-mobility and Esyasoft e-Mobility have signed a memorandum of understanding to jointly deploy electric vehicle charging infrastructure and energy-integrated mobility solutions across several emerging markets, the companies said.
The partnership will combine ABB’s global portfolio of EV charging hardware with Esyasoft’s energy management platforms, project development capabilities and digital services. Initial projects will focus on the Middle East, Africa and Latin America, with potential expansion into additional regions.

The collaboration targets large-scale fleet electrification programs for public transit agencies, utilities and enterprise operators. ABB brings fast-charging systems ranging from 50 kW units to megawatt-class chargers designed for heavy-duty vehicles, while Esyasoft will provide software, grid integration and operational support.
ABB said it has installed more than 68,000 high-power chargers across over 10,000 sites worldwide. Esyasoft, which operates in more than a dozen countries, specializes in integrating charging infrastructure with broader energy systems, including smart grids and digital optimization tools.

Bruno Bourguet, president of Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) and Channel at ABB E-mobility, said successful electrification requires coordination between charging hardware and energy management systems. Abdul Karim Sawan, chief executive of Esyasoft e-Mobility, said the partnership supports the company’s goal of delivering EV-as-a-Service offerings combining infrastructure, software and operations.
Esyasoft is part of Esyasoft Holding Ltd., a subsidiary of Abu Dhabi-based International Holding Company (IHC). The companies said aligning charging deployment with grid capacity, financing and digital controls is essential for scaling electric mobility in rapidly growing markets.
