Abarth has launched its new 600e series in the UK, introducing the brand’s most powerful electric vehicle (EV) to date. The performance-focused model is available in two trims—the standard 600e and the limited-run Scorpionissima— with prices starting at £36,975 (~€44,000).
The 600e features a 54kWh battery pack, offering a range of up to 207 miles (WLTP), and is powered by a 176kW electric motor capable of accelerating from 0 to 100kph in 6.24 seconds. Meanwhile, the Scorpionissima model is equipped with a 207kW motor borrowed from the Alfa Romeo Junior Elettrica Veloce, enabling a quicker 0 to 100kph time of 5.9 seconds.

“Recognising that our top-of-the-range Abarth 600e Scorpionissima would have attracted the Expensive Car Supplement coming in April, we made the decision to reduce the price of the car and protect our customers from this tax rise,” said Giuseppe Cava, UK Managing Director for Fiat and Abarth.
Designed with motorsport performance in mind, both models come with a Torsen mechanical limited-slip differential, Michelin Pilot Sport EV tyres, stiffened suspension, and a reinforced chassis with an anti-roll bar.

They also feature an engine sound generator, 20-inch alloy wheels, and an advanced infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The Scorpionissima trim includes additional driver assistance features, such as Level 2 Assisted Driving, a blind spot monitor, and 360-degree parking sensors.
The Abarth 600e series offers three driving modes: ‘Turismo,’ which limits torque to 300Nm and has a top speed of 150kph; ‘Scorpion Street,’ which increases torque to 345Nm with a 180kph limit; and ‘Scorpion Track,’ which fine-tunes the vehicle for sportier handling and a top speed of 200kph.

Available in Acid Green or Hypnotic Purple, the 600e is priced at £36,975, while the Scorpionissima starts at £39,875 (~€47,600). Abarth set the latter’s price strategically to avoid the UK’s upcoming Expensive Car Supplement, which will impose an additional £410 annual tax on EVs priced above £40,000 for the first five years of ownership.
