At the recent Power2Drive event in Munich, XCharge introduced its latest innovation, the C7 Slim fast charging station, tailored for efficiency and space-saving capabilities. This compact charger boasts a charging capacity of up to 240 kW and supports simultaneous charging for two electric vehicles.
According to XCharge, the C7 Slim utilizes “dynamic power allocation,” allowing it to flexibly distribute power in 40 kW increments between vehicles, optimizing charging speeds.
“The C7 Slim is particularly suited for locations with limited space,” XCharge highlighted in a statement. “With its small footprint and a depth of just 46.7 centimeters, operators can install it without extensive parking lot restructuring, preserving valuable parking space.”
Alongside the C7 Slim, XCharge also showcased the larger C7 model, now certified under calibration law with a charging capacity of up to 400 kW, slightly lower than earlier projections of 420 kW. Despite its high power output, the C7 requires only a modest base area of 0.72 square meters, making it easy to retrofit into existing parking spaces and compliant with DIN 18040-3 standards for barrier-free construction.
XCharge also reiterated its commitment to sustainable solutions with the Net Zero Series battery-supported rapid charging station, capable of delivering up to 210 kW of power and accommodating dual EV charging.
The Net Zero Series includes optional storage units ranging from 233 to 466 kWh, enhancing its versatility in various charging scenarios. Swiss charging infrastructure provider Juice Technology has recently joined XCharge in distributing the Net Zero Series, underscoring its adoption in the market.
