Hakan and Berrin Can, residents of Warendorf, Germany, were thrilled to take delivery of their brand new Ford Mustang Mach-E, but what made it extra special was the fact that theirs was the 50,000th Mustang Mach-E ever delivered. The couple received their shiny new car at the Ford-Autohaus Ebbert GmbH dealership in Gütersloh, located in the north-west region of Germany.
According to Hakan, they opted for the Mustang Mach-E because of their recent family expansion, “My wife and I chose the Mustang Mach-E because we have needed a family-friendly car since the birth of our son Nesim,” he said. “We were particularly impressed by the design, the generous space and the overall technical package. I am convinced that electric vehicles are the future.”

Not content with just any Mustang Mach-E, the couple chose the high-performance GT model which boasts 480 hp (358 kW/487 PS) and 634 lb-ft (860 Nm) of torque. The Absolute Black model is equipped with all-wheel-drive and the Extended Range battery, allowing them to travel up to 304 miles (490 km) between charges, according to the WLTP test cycle.
Ford’s Director of Passenger Cars for Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, Patrick Schenzler, expressed his gratitude to the couple for choosing the Mustang Mach-E and helping to pave the way for a future of electrified vehicles, “Thank you, Mr. and Mrs. Can, for choosing the Mustang Mach-E and thus not only a beautiful, but also a practical electric car,” he said. “For us as a company, but also for our Ford dealerships, the delivery of the 50,000th Mustang Mach-E is a milestone on our common path to an electrified future.”
