Nissan has launched the all-new Elgrand in Japan, introducing the latest generation of its premium minivan with updated hybrid technology, all-wheel-drive capability and driver assistance features.
The new Elgrand is offered in two grades, with prices ranging from 6,897,000 yen ($42,760) to 7,579,000 yen ($46,990). Both variants are equipped with Nissan’s third-generation e-POWER hybrid system and the latest version of its e-4ORCE electric all-wheel-drive technology.

Hybrid Powertrain and Suspension Updates
The third-generation e-POWER system combines a dedicated gasoline engine used solely for electricity generation with a newly developed 5-in-1 electric powertrain module.
The integrated unit combines the electric motor, generator, inverter, reducer and increaser into a single package.
The Elgrand also features Intelligent Dynamic Suspension, which adjusts damping at each wheel in real time, along with an Advanced Active Noise Control system designed to reduce both engine and road noise inside the cabin.

Cabin Equipped With New Technology
Inside, the minivan features dual 14.3-inch displays serving the instrument cluster and infotainment system.
Other equipment includes a Bose 22-speaker audio system, Zero Gravity seats across all three seating rows and three 100-volt AC power outlets capable of supplying up to 1,500 watts.
According to Nissan, the exterior and interior design follow a “Timeless Japanese Futurism” theme, with the front grille drawing inspiration from the traditional Japanese Kumiko woodworking pattern.
Driver Assistance and Connectivity
ProPILOT driver assistance technology is fitted as standard across the lineup.
The higher-grade G e-4ORCE model adds hands-free driving support in traffic jams and lane-change assistance.

Both versions also include Google built-in services, providing access to Google Maps, Google Assistant and Google Play.
The new Elgrand was first unveiled at the Japan Mobility Show 2025 and is now on sale in Japan. The model competes in the country’s premium minivan segment, where manufacturers continue to expand technology, comfort and connectivity features.
