Zeekr, the premium electric vehicle brand owned by Geely Auto, has surpassed 800,000 cumulative vehicle deliveries, highlighting the rapid growth of the Chinese automaker in the increasingly competitive premium mobility market.
The company announced the milestone on Tuesday, noting that its vehicles are now available in more than 50 countries and regions worldwide.
Deliveries continue to surge
Zeekr delivered a record 34,377 vehicles in May, bringing cumulative deliveries to 786,090 units as of the end of the month.
Based on the latest milestone announcement, the company has delivered more than 13,910 additional vehicles in June, pushing total deliveries beyond the 800,000-unit mark.
During the first five months of 2026, Zeekr delivered 143,201 vehicles, representing year-on-year growth of 93.42%.
The strong performance reflects the brand’s continued expansion beyond its early reliance on a single flagship model.
Diversified product portfolio fuels growth
Over the past several years, Zeekr has significantly broadened its lineup, creating a portfolio that spans luxury sedans, SUVs, MPVs and shooting brake models.
The company says its increasingly diverse premium vehicle range has become a major driver of sales growth.
Zeekr 009 strengthens luxury MPV position
The Zeekr 009, marketed as the world’s first purpose-built all-electric luxury multi-purpose vehicle, has emerged as one of the brand’s most successful products.
According to the company, cumulative deliveries of the model are approaching 70,000 units.
Zeekr said the 009 has led sales in China’s luxury MPV segment priced above 400,000 yuan ($59,180) for two consecutive years and has also become the best-selling all-electric luxury MPV in markets including Hong Kong, Thailand and Malaysia.
Premium SUVs drive higher transaction values
The Zeekr 9X has become a cornerstone of the company’s push into the upper end of the premium vehicle market.
The luxury plug-in hybrid SUV has accumulated more than 60,000 deliveries, with an average transaction price exceeding 530,000 yuan.
Zeekr said the 9X has ranked first in both sales and customer reputation among large SUVs priced around 500,000 yuan in China for seven consecutive months.
According to the company, one out of every three luxury vehicles sold in China within the segment above 500,000 yuan is a Zeekr 9X.
The recently launched Zeekr 8X is also contributing to growth. Introduced in April, the model became the best-selling hybrid SUV in the 300,000-500,000 yuan price range during its first full month on the market in May, the company said.
Zeekr 7X and shooting brake lineup gain momentum
The Zeekr 7X has recorded cumulative deliveries exceeding 160,000 units and continues to perform strongly in overseas markets.
The company said the model leads sales among mid-size luxury SUVs in markets including Hong Kong, Australia and Malaysia.
Meanwhile, Zeekr’s shooting brake family has achieved cumulative deliveries of nearly 380,000 units, making it the global leader in the segment according to the automaker.
The Zeekr 001 helped establish the all-electric luxury shooting brake category, while the newer Zeekr 007 GT has expanded the company’s presence in the niche.
Integration into Geely ecosystem
Zeekr was launched by Geely in March 2021 as part of the group’s strategy to target China’s rapidly growing premium electric vehicle sector.
In December 2025, the company completed its merger with Geely and was delisted from the New York Stock Exchange, becoming a wholly owned subsidiary of Geely.
The move formed part of Zhejiang Geely Holding Group’s broader “One Geely” strategy, which seeks to streamline operations, reduce overlap among brands and improve synergies across the group.
Global expansion accelerates
As deliveries continue to increase, Zeekr is also accelerating its international growth strategy.
The company currently operates in more than 50 markets worldwide and has previously indicated that both the Zeekr 9X and Zeekr 8X are expected to enter overseas markets as early as the third quarter of this year.
With cumulative deliveries now exceeding 800,000 units, Zeekr has established itself as one of China’s fastest-growing premium new-energy vehicle brands and a significant player in the global transition toward electrified mobility.
